Helmet Camcorder

I still remember watching my first xgames on ESPN. I could not believe all the amazing camera work! How were they able to film all these extreme sports and have it look so good for TV? I am such a huge fan of all things that have to do with camera and filming, so I had to figure it out. After some brief searching online, I found that they were mostly using helmet camcorders to do the filming. I thought of all the sports activities I was interested in and how cool it would be to film some of them myself! I was bummed to find out that these helmet camcorders were very expensive and hard to find for average consumers like me. Fast forward ten years to today!

Today anyone who wants to film racing, mountain biking, skateboarding, skydiving, etc. can do so by getting a helmet camcorder. And, if you are willing to shop around online and read some reviews, you can get a great one for an amazing price. As technology of video cameras gets better and better, we see the prices getting cheaper and cheaper. And, though it wasn’t seen right away, the price of helmet camcorders online is dropping too.

For anyone with an interest in sports, recreation and/or extreme sports I recommend you buy a helmet camcorder and shoot some video! There are few things as fun as filming this way, and the prices of the units right now is incredible!
